Camp Activities

Find your inner Robin Hood at one of our two archery ranges. Prove your prowess up in the woods by Wilderness Camp or down by the creek on the way to hammock village.

Swimming in the Pool

Cool off and get your tan on at one of our two pools. Check out the waterslide at the pool behind the This is War Dining Hall or get your heart racing with floaty races down on North Camp.

There is no better way to get a lay of the land than with a hike. Join us for a spin around the surrounding hills, to enjoy the views and cool down in the nearby rock pools.

Flower Crown Making

Come find us at the Selfie Garden just south of the Do or Dining Hall and give your royal dome the crown it has always deserved. Life is short, why not wear a flower crown?

A tried and true summer camp staple. Grab a tote bag, a t-shirt, a bandana or one of your own personal items and give them a splash of color at the Fantasy Craft Cabin.

You can join us bright and early for sunrise yoga or Namaste in bed and align your chakras later in the afternoon. Mats are provided, just meet us on the L490 Field.

Lawn Games

Any time of day, you can swing by the Conquistador Lawn to play some lawn games or get some advice to find your balance on the slack line.

Stone Mandala Making

Meet us at the picnic tables outside of the Do or Dining Hall and get your mandala on.

Dream Catcher Weaving

Join us in the lounge area of the North Pool to weave a dream catcher that will ward off even the spookiest of dreams.

Jewelry Making

Make the perfect souvenir, or a friendship bracelet that will blow everyone out of the water at Jewelry Making. Meet up with Robin and her team from Zorbitz Inc at the 100 Suns Amphitheater.

Ommmmmmm. Take some you-time and recharge your batteries for the night ahead with some guided meditation.

Hula Hoops

Loosen up those hips on the L490 Field. Our resident Hula Hoop expert Fer will show you some awesome tips and tricks to have you hooping like a master in no time.

Juggling work and play is an important life skill for any adult. However, we’ll make things a little bit more fun on the Conquistador Lawn.

Ropes Course and Rock Wall

Conquer the rock wall and get a bird’s eye view of Camp Mars, or try your hand at the ropes course. Whatever you choose, you’ll be up in the air, lost in the night…

Swimming in the Creek

New this year… thank you to the rare SoCal rain this past winter. Complete your weekend wilderness experience with a dip in the creek. You can find this oasis near Closer to the Edge, by Hammock Village.

Mask Making

Need something to bring your Church of Mars outfit to the next level? Spend some time with internationally celebrated mask designer Stephanie Riemer on the Conquistador Lawn and get your face right.

Nature Writing

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Malibu Creek State Park and put pen to paper. Poetry? Prose? Maybe a short story. The choice is yours.

Late Night Movies

Screen time in the wilderness? Yes indeed. Movies are TBD.

Star Gazing

Join us for stargazing. Sit back, look up, and soak up the beauty of our cosmic neighborhood.

Ghost Stories

Abandoned trailer bed? Check. Spooky woods? Check. Scary stories? Check. Come hear dramatic readings of ghost stories at the Night of the Hunter Flat. Bring a buddy, for you never know what you might bump into on the way.

Campfire and S'mores

It wouldn’t be camp without s’mores around a campfire NOW WOULD IT??? We’ve got all the goods, so after the show, meet your friends at the Alibi Amphitheater for this classic camp treat. We dare you not to feel like a kid again.
